Here at the Barcoding HQ in Baltimore, Maryland, we've built a modern store, the Barcoding Retail Experience Center. This modern store is a way for you to experience RAIN RFID infrastructure and what's possible without making that investment yourself. Because we've invested, you now have a place to see this infrastructure in action. We're experts in how this technology can improve visibility. We have People on our team like JW Franz, our Director of IoT, who is able to bring to life the power of RAIN RFID.

The investment to create a modern retail experience in Barcoding’s corporate office was made to help customers better understand the importance of RAIN RFID in modern retail store operations. Customers can book an appointment for an interactive SmartLens and handheld RFID demo, as well as learn the criticality of RAIN RFID technology in the retail landscape.

Zebra SmartLens for Retail consists of a family of purpose-built RFID sensors, the SmartLens data analytics engine and SmartLens applications. While there are multiple layers in this solution, it is designed to easily integrate into existing technology architecture and infrastructure.

RAIN RFID is a wireless technology that connects billions of everyday items to the internet, enabling businesses and consumers to identify, locate, authenticate, and engage each item.

Spurred by the continued adoption of RAIN RFID throughout the retail supply chain as part of retailer supplier mandates to ensure on-shelf availability for a better consumer experience, whether it be in-store or e-commerce, the Retail Experience Center will act as a living, breathing shop in its most optimized form.
