Barcoding + DecisionPoint Appoints Ross Young as CEO

Barcoding + DecisionPoint is pleased to announce the appointment of Ross Young as our new Chief Executive Officer. Renowned for his leadership skills and proven ability to drive growth, Ross has over 35 years of experience building and integrating unified platforms.

His experience and guidance in our industry will be a much-needed asset, especially as we expand toward being a supply chain innovation and solutions integration leader. Recently, he served as the CEO of Movilitas (now Engineering Industries eXcellence), where he led an SAP consulting and software business that supported leading Pharma and FT1000 clients across global supply chains. In addition to his current role at Barcoding + DecisionPoint, Ross operates his own M&A consulting firm, Emblem.

Previously, Ross spent 12 years as CEO of Peak Technologies, Inc., guiding the company under two private equity sponsors, focusing on digital supply chain, factory automation, and retail solutions. He also held key operational roles at Platinum Equity and Racal Datacom, amassing significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, and management. Before the merger of Barcoding and DecisionPoint Systems, Ross also served on the Advisory Council for Barcoding, a Graham Partners Portfolio Company.

Ross earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Hull, where he was also an avid rugby player. We are excited to welcome Ross to Barcoding + DecisionPoint and look forward to his leadership in driving our company’s growth and innovation.
