Save Time With Voice-Activated Systems
Adding voice unlocks new potential by increasing flexibility and productivity in the enterprise. Voice solutions are another form of input, similar to barcode scanning or operating a touch screen. As technology advances with modernized OS and devices, there is more power than ever before at your fingertips to leverage voice and replace legacy systems.
“A voice process that is properly implemented will have no stopping movement. From the moment you start moving towards that product, to the moment you complete your pick, you’re never taking an action that doesn’t involve either moving you or moving the product,” says Gonzales.
Voice-activated systems give users the advantage of simultaneous actions, able to log data and system inputs while on the move. The system will tell users where they need to go, confirm a successful product pull and prepare them for the next step, all without having to pause to look at a screen or press a button.
“We don’t deal in terms of hours or minutes, we deal with fractions of a second,” says Gonzales.
When every second counts, voice-activated systems create a zero-loss in productivity, shaving off unnecessary transaction time and benefiting your bottom line.
