Intermec Helps PGA
Intermec recently announced its implementation of the CN50 and CK71 rugged mobile computers with the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA).
Intermec worked with the PGA to deploy the new system for the 2012 PGA Championship. Volunteers used the Intermec CN50 to enter shot data in real-time. From there, the data is transmitted directly to the PGA’s on-site quality control experts and analyzed. The Intermec CK71 was used for scanning tickets at the gates.
“With the rugged design, extended battery life and high-performing scanning capabilities, the Intermec solution offered us the most intuitive choice for our team of volunteers to use seamlessly with very little training,” aid Lou Manz, PGA Director of Information Technology.
