Barcoding, Inc.’s 3rd Annual Executive Forum a Success
Thursday, Sept. 12, marked our 3rd annual, and most successful, Executive Forum: Accelerating the Supply Chain with Barcoding and RFID. The forum was held at the Pier 5 hotel in Baltimore and brought together 150 of today’s most innovative supply chain leaders to discuss best practices and proven mobile technology strategies.
The Executive Forum was designed to give clients, partners and peers the opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences in barcoding and RFID to promote supply chain efficiency. This year, keynote speaker Kevin Neville, director of technology and enterprise architect for United Rentals, Inc., discussed how United Rentals’ best-of-breed mobile solution enhanced delivery efficiency and accuracy.
Following the keynote, Kelly Harris and Martin Jack, of Barcoding, Inc., joined Kerry Kulp, of Cumulus Consulting Group, in a panel discussion regarding the best practices of a successful mobile implementation.
From there, the conference split into two tracks, Warehouse Optimization and Beyond the Four Walls, featuring experts from Motorola, Descartes, Zebra, Apacheta, TrackAbout, Savant, Intellitrack and SOTI.
Over lunch, Impinj hosted a live demonstration of their new
Speedway xArray™ Reader System, the first RFID system designed for autonomous wide-area monitoring applications while maintaining backwards compatibility with portal applications
The last session, “RFID and the Future,” was an informal discussion, encouraging audience participation and brainstorming innovations.
We thank everyone who attended our 3rd Annual Executive Forum and hope to see you next year!
